Welcome back to the Walker Studios Challenge 2012. For those of you who didn’t join us last year the premise is simple, over the course of a month you record a Vlog (That’s Video Blog for those of us still behind the times) about whatever you want to talk about, your personal life or your business, or a topic that’s close to your heart, like a charity, event or something of the like.
The Walker Studios Challenge takes place over the course of a month. The idea is to get a scope of information over the period of time, either by recording and uploading multiple VLogs, or recording as you go and just piecing them together, or a few minutes here and there. How you participate is up to yourself.
The Benefits of taking part is that you get to share what is important to you with the world via YouTube, Facebook, Twitter etc. As a community I encourage all participants to like, comment on and share each others videos and posts, helping everyone reach as wide an audience as possible.
Aside from that it gets people doing something they don’t normally do, and hopefully helps build up their confidence levels.
Task: Vlog and upload to YouTube When: 15th October – 15th November Share: Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Blogs, Websites, Google+ Hashtag: #walkerstudioschallenge Who: Whoever wants to!
This is the collection of Videos for Week One of the Walker Studios Challenge, as more people submit videos they shall be added here. Don’t forget to watch other peoples videos and share them on all your Social Networking Sites!
Seeking to spread a little more light on the details of the Walker Studios Challenge and getting a little more face to face time with the camera before it all kicks off on Monday, here I am explaining more about the Walker Studios Challenge and what it means to me, and hopefully to those taking part.
It’s been a while since I blogged. Mainly because I haven’t had internet, and haven’t even been back online a full week yet. I have been however considering what to do when I got back online, other than a few things here and there that needed done for some of my clients.
An idea has struck me, brought about with inspiration from Jonny Rose and from my cousin Ryan Murphy. A Challenge occurred to me, one that should be fun and new to a lot of businesses, at least the ones I know, and that had the potential to give their business some exposure.
